The word “Piquancy” means a pleasantly sharp and appetising flavour. In India, these flavours are the taste of home food that brings people together and puts smiles on faces.

Piquancy lives up to its name, serving up vibrant dishes inspired by the team’s grandparents in Punjab, creating a space that is an Indian home away from home in the heart of Hawthorn.

Piquancy celebrates Indian culture with a tantalising mix of flavours and spices to transport you to the streets and homes of India.

Diners can expect classic curries and rice dishes as well as lesser known street food bites accompanied by beautiful local wines, craft beers and traditional lassi beverages.

The food is presented carefully and creatively, ensuring every last detail is special. All produce is sourced locally from markets and farmers and only the highest quality ingredients are used.

Piquancy is open for brunch, lunch and dinner and is happy to accommodate dietary requirements.

Piquancy operates on a walk-in, telephone- and online-booking basis. Bookings are encouraged to ensure you don’t miss out. We also provide an extensive take-away menu which can be ordered through our website.
